Top 10 Ways to Stick to your Meal Plan

With a little planning, we can really set ourselves up for success! Eating a high raw diet is very important to me for many reasons & even though I have created some rawmazing habits around eating, I can still get pulled off of my path as easily as anyone else. Here’s my top 10 ways list for keeping healthy:

10. Start each day with a quart of green smoothie or green juice ... and bottle yourself up another serving to enjoy later in the day when you’ll need a pick me up.

9. Keep your fruit bowl well stocked & always have some veggie sticks on hand for nibbling.

8. Be sure to carry a healthy snack with you at all times. You never know when you’ll need a little something to carry you through. I am a big fan of having apples, bananas or a baggie of nuts & raisins in my handbag.

7. Plan ahead. Think through your day & plan out what you’ll need for snacks & meals, that way when that donut crosses our path we can say “no ... I’ve got something better that will actually nourish me!”

6. Get plenty of sleep. We make better choices for ourselves when we are well rested!

5. Share your healthy treats with those around you! Sharing makes everyone feel good & when you have something healthy to share, it means you won’t dive into something unhealthy.

4. Think about what motivates you to live your healthiest life each & every day! For me it is simply wanting to live my best life & to be healthy for my family & friends.

3. Exercise a little every day! Even though we are all wicked busy, making a little time for a power walk, a run, an exercise tape, yoga or zumba is really important. Aim for 20 minutes to an hour a day so that you can feel your best!
